Getting Accommodations

    Register with DRC

    Sign on the and select “Register with DRC”. Complete the registration form and click submit. Once your registration is received, you will be assigned an Access Consultant via your student (ZID) email.

    Your Access Consultant will work with you to set up a time to complete the interactive intake process.

    Complete the Intake Process

    You and an Access Consultant will discuss barriers that may impact your experience at 麻豆精品. You are welcome to invite family members, significant others or legal guardians to participate. It is usually scheduled for 60-90 minutes. If you are going to be more than 15 minutes late, call us and reschedule.

    You may be asked for documentation of your disability. If you don't have documentation, meet with an Access Consultant to find out what kind of documentation you need and how to get it.

    Request Your Letters of Accommodation

    Once the intake is complete and accommodations have been established, you will need to request your Letters of Accommodation (LOA). To request your LOAs, please sign on to the and select “Accommodation Letter Request”. Follow the prompts to complete your LOA Request.

    Please note, in order for accommodations to be active you will need to have a discussion with your professor about how accommodations are going to be implemented in the class.

Making Accommodations Work for You

  • Give the DRC course materials to be adapted at least six weeks before they are needed.
  • Give your instructor your letter of accommodation as early as possible in the semester.
  • If an instructor is not receptive to your accommodation request, talk to your access consultant.
