Creating Accessible Digital Materials

When creating or using digital materials in your course, you will want to ensure that those digital materials are accessible to the broadest range of learners. There are small steps that you can take in creating digital materials that may have a large impact for your learners. This list of resources provides a starting point for exploration.

  • Record or upload content to Kaltura and
  • Record content in VoiceThread and
  • Add subtitles and captions to
  • If you didn't create the video, you can generate captions to overlay the video with a free captioning tool like
  • (Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, Robust)
