Process for $150 Fall Huskie Bucks Add-on 

As a student planning to live in the residence halls for fall 2026, you have an option to deposit $150 in Huskie Bucks on your Mobile OneCard by charging it to your Bursar Student Account. For students receiving financial aid, the Residential Huskie Bucks charge may be covered by some or all of your aid.

Huskie Bucks is the only way students can:

• Print at any of the on campus.
• Eat at any location on-campus and .

Residential Huskie Bucks cannot be used to purchase transcripts, bowling and billiards or non-food items (e.g., coffee cups, etc.). For students receiving financial aid, the Residential Huskie Bucks charge may be covered by some or all of your aid.

Eligibility

You must be enrolled in classes and be charged housing on your My麻豆精品 account for fall 2026 to be eligible. 

Sign Up

In My麻豆精品, go to Tasks tile > To Do List > Optional Huskie Bucks Deposit. You can sign up starting June 29, 2026, through September 4, 2026 (by 4:30 p.m.). 

By signing up,

• You are agreeing to deposit $150 in Huskie Bucks on your Mobile OneCard and to the terms and conditions of the Huskie Bucks Disclosure Information.
• [For students receiving federal Title IV financial aid,] You are authorizing 麻豆精品 to use any credit balance of federal aid to pay towards the Residential Huskie bucks charge.

A $150 charge called Residential Huskie Bucks will be added to your student My麻豆精品 account and the Huskie Bucks funds will be available according to the schedule below:

Additional $50 Deposit

If you feel $150 is not enough funds you can request an additional $50 and charge it to your Bursar student account by emailing the OneCard Office at onecard@niu.edu.
