What login credentials do I enter when I receive the popup window asking for my ID Number?
You will use your AccountID. Examples include Z1234567 or A1234567.
When I receive the Print Job Notification popup which account do I choose to print from? Charge to my personal account or Charge to shared account?
If you choose your personal account you must have funds in the account. You can add money to your account by contacting the
OneCard office. If you have approval from your department you can charge prints to the shared department account.
How do I know if I have a print job ready for release at an Anywhere Printer?
If you have screen notifications activated on your device, a notification will popup verifying a print has been submitted and held in the queue.
Can I tap my OneCard at the printer?
The OneCard office has started the process of rolling out new cards with Near Field Communication which allows a user to tap or swipe their card on the card readers. If you have an older one card, you will continue swiping at the card reader.
How do I know if my OneCard worked after swiping or tapping on the card reader?
After swiping or tapping your card the home screen will activate on the printer allowing for Print Release, Device Functions or Scanning.
How do I report quality or performance issues with my printer?
Submit an incident ticket at You will need to enter the device ID located on the front of the printer, room location, and include a brief description of the issue you are experiencing.
Printer has a message stating "The card authentication device is not connected" what do I do?
Check the Transact card reader cord to see if it's plugged into the card reader. If the cord is plugged in check to see if the green light is illuminated on the card reader power button. If not, push and hold the card reader power button until the green light comes on.
How can I use my Courtesy or "Red" copy card?
The courtesy card is linked to a department account and can only be used when submitting jobs through the PaperCut client. When using the courtesy card you must enter the six digit number on the front of the card and when prompted enter your ID number. You will swipe this card when releasing prints at the printer.
Why there are two separate scanning options on the printers and which should I use?
The PaperCut "Scan" symbol provides the option to scan to self only. This is a quick and secure option ensuring your documents arrive to your email and eliminates the possibility of sending documents to an incorrect email account. The Ricoh "Device functions" scan allows you to type in an email address and also create address books for frequently used contracts. This scan option provides you additional settings to refine how documents are sent and is the best solution when scanning a large amounts of documents. When using PaperCut Scan what does "Prompt for more pages" mean?
By default the "Prompt for more pages" box is unchecked. Each page you scan will be sent to your email. If you would like to send multiple pages in a single email, select the "Prompt for more pages" when you scan your documents.
How do I create email address books using my "OneCard"?
Email address books can be created using the "Device functions" Scanner. When setting up address books using a OneCard the contacts can only be viewed and selected by the user creating the contacts. For instructions on setting up address books see

How do I change the tray paper size on a Ricoh IM C300?
When changing the physical paper size in a tray, you will need to update the printer information so the correct paper size prints when releasing documents. For instructions on changing the tray size see

How do I setup the printer bypass tray for miscellaneous items such as envelopes, labels, and letterhead?
Is the AnywherePrints system secure?
With AnywherePrints you don't have to print and sprint to grab your confidential prints. Your job will not be sitting on the printer where someone else can pick it up.
You print at any of the hundreds of printers across campus, all of which have the same swipe requirement. Thus, you have backup printing that is as secure as your primary printer. Imagine a broken personal printer where you have to email a confidential document to someone and ask them to print it for you. Then maybe you need to ask them to delete that email. And then delete it permanently from the trash. Are you sure they’re going to do that? With secure AnywherePrints your print job is safe and private at every printer, even if your primary one is unavailable.
Can I print to an AnywherePrinter from my home or off campus?
Yes. After you've been moved to the new AnywherePrints environment, you can print from home or anywhere off campus by logging into 麻豆精品's VPN (Virtual Private Network) tunnel using the on your desktop/laptop to establish a secure connection.
Will every building have an Anywhere Printer?
Nearly every building will have at least one accessible Anywhere Printer. For a complete list of public or student facing printers, visit the page.
Who will purchase, deliver, store and load paper?
The Anywhere Print program includes letter size (8.5x11) paper in the print rates. DoIT Delivers and loads paper in many public facing printers.
Will we have enough printers in case one goes down?
Yes. You're not really printing to any specific printer, but to an AnywherePrints queue in 麻豆精品's data center. When you send your print job, it’s waiting anywhere and everywhere for you. When you show up at a printer, the printer downloads your print job and prints it. If the printer closest to you is broken or out of paper or whatever, just walk to another printer and print it there. We’ll have hundreds of them on campus so in essence, you have plenty of backup printers at all times!
Will there be evening and weekend support hours for the printers or do I need to just find another printer until the next business day?
The DoIT Service Desk will take calls and create incident tickets during non-business times at night and on weekends. Service technicians are on call to repair printers Monday–Friday 8:00am-4:30pm except on holidays.
How long is my print job available for printing once it is sent to the AnywherePrints queue?
You have 24 hours from the time your print job is sent to retrieve it at the printer. After that, you must resubmit the print job.
What sizes can I print? Can I still print on letterhead or envelopes?
Letter-size (8.5x11), Legal size (8.5x14) is available on all model printers. Tabloid size (11x17) is only available on Ricoh IM3500 and IM3510 models. Printing on your own letterhead is simply a matter of loading it in the letter-size tray.
Do we have to swipe a OneCard or will it be possible to enter a number instead? What happens if I've lost or damaged my OneCard?
You will be required to swipe either a OneCard or a Courtesy Card.
My OneCard is really old. Will any 麻豆精品 OneCard work with AnywherePrints?
Yes. Any OneCard will work.
I'm an employee at 麻豆精品. Can I use AnywherePrints for personal printing?
Yes and this is a great option for faculty or staff. Submit your print job as usual, but then when you go to an AnywherePrinter and swipe your OneCard, you'll see an option to either bill to your personal account or bill to your department. If you choose to bill to your personal account, that means you'll need a on your OneCard. If you never intend to do personal printing on 麻豆精品 devices, then you don't need the Huskie Bucks option.
Can I print from a wireless device? What about 麻豆精品Guest?
You can print from any device connected to 麻豆精品Wireless, but you cannot print when connecting via 麻豆精品Guest.
Unauthenticated guest wireless is a more open environment with extremely reduced security controls. All 麻豆精品 students,faculty and staff who mistakenly use 麻豆精品Guest to connect to our wireless network are actually treated as external users. And we want to ensure that all our users are afforded all the security scans and protection provided by our authenticated and secure network.
Remember that when you print from off campus, 麻豆精品 users should use VPN to securely connect to the AnywherePrints service.
How do I order toner and paper from DoIT for my AnywherePrinters?
Your toner and paper can be ordered through . You will need to enter the device ID located on the front of the printer. If you are ordering toner you will need the printer model along with the color of toner you are requesting.
