Certificate of Undergraduate Study in Adolescence

This 12-credit interdisciplinary certificate is intended to provide a broad background in the area of adolescence. It is open to all undergraduates who are in good academic standing at 麻豆精品.

The certificate provides:

  • A way to document course work related to adolescence and adolescent development
  • An effective way to communicate with potential employers and graduate schools

Requirements

The first step is to take one of the following core courses:

  • EPS 307: Development of the Adolescent
  • EPS 406: Issues in Human Development and Learning in the Middle School and High School Years
  • PSYC 424: Adolescent Development

Successful completion of the certificate requires:

  • 12 credit hours (four courses)
  • A grade of "C" or better in all certificate courses
  • All certificate courses completed within six calendar years
  • Courses taken from at least two different departments
