• M.A. student Ellie Gerbracht has been selected as a recipient of a 2025 Outstanding Graduate Student Award, given annually by the Graduate School to one student from each graduate program for distinction in research and scholarly activity.
• Congratulations to M.A. student Pierce Neal, who has been awarded the 2023 JoAnne Rafalson Memorial Essay Prize for his paper, "Against Positism." 
• Congratulations to M.A. students Pierce Neal and Joshua Seidman-Zager, who have been awarded the 2023 C. Mason and Madeline Myers Award for outstanding achievement in graduate study in philosophy.
• Philosophy alumnus Dr. Evan Dutmer (B.A., 2012) has received a 2023 College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Distinguished Alumni Award. After graduating from Â鶹¾«Æ·, Dr. Dutmer earned a Ph.D. in Ancient Philosophy from Northwestern University. He is now an award-winning teacher at Culver Academies.

• Prof. Lenny Clapp has received a 2021 Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award, marking the second consecutive year in which a philosophy faculty member has won this university-wide award.
• Renee Jorgensen Bolinger (M.A., 2012), who created the above picture of the Philosophy Department faculty and the series, just had her paper "The Pragmatics of Slurs" published in . Renee is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. program in philosophy at University of Southern California.
