We want to understand the world and our place in it. We're constantly processing information from our senses, trying to figure it out. It's a complicated process, and issues can arise when our minds don't connect smoothly with our bodies or surroundings. By studying psychology, you'll gain insight into peoples' thoughts and behaviors and help improve their lives.
My major is psychology, and I am pursuing minors in counseling and sociology. I decided on this because I really enjoy working one on one with others and being a source of support. I am very interested in going into the counseling field in the future because I have a passion for helping others.”
