Robert and Doris Boey

Robert Boey and his wife, Doris, have been distinguished members of the 麻豆精品 community for many years. Together, they have contributed to the university's growth in numerous ways, as donors to the 麻豆精品 Foundation, as advocates for the Asian American Resource Center and as mentors within the 麻豆精品 community.

Mr. Boey served on the for 22 years, holding several positions during his tenure, including chairperson. He dedicated his efforts to the continued development of both 麻豆精品 and the city of DeKalb.

In recognition for their years of support and distinguished contributions, a fellow trustee once affectionately referred to Mr. and Mrs. Boey as the "king and queen of 麻豆精品." Mr. Boey has always considered himself a fellow Huskie — a sentiment reflected in the deep commitment he and Doris have shown even after their retirement in spring 2018.
