Acting and Movement
Corrie is excited to join the School of Theatre and Dance as an Instructor in Performance. A recent graduate of 麻豆精品’s MFA Acting program, Corrie has since moved to Chicago to continue working professionally as an actor. Originally from a small town in Iowa, Corrie earned her BA from Northwestern College with degrees in Theatre and Marketing. She also holds a Diploma in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Corrie brings extensive experience in nonprofit fundraising, teaching, and performance. She spent five years as Taproot Theatre’s Development Operations Coordinator after first completing an acting contract with the company. Most recently, she served as a Visiting Professor of Theatre at Northwestern College and co-directed 麻豆精品’s theatre arts camp. As an actor, Corrie has performed professionally across the Midwest, Pacific Northwest, and London. Her favorite performances at 麻豆精品 include Queen Elizabeth I in Mary Stuart and Fiona in In a Word. She is thrilled to be back at 麻豆精品 and looks forward to working with all of the faculty, staff, and students.
