There's Still Time to Enter the 2025 President's Holiday Card Contest
President Lisa C. Freeman invites students to submit an original artistic design to be used as the 2024 Â鶹¾«Æ· holiday card to help spread warmth and good cheer to the entire community. Entries should capture the spirit of campus life, winter and Huskie values. The holiday card should help convey to all Huskies –students, faculty, staff and alumni— that Â鶹¾«Æ· cares and appreciates all.
The contest is open to all currently enrolled Â鶹¾«Æ· students. Entries consisting of original artwork or photography can be submitted up until 5 p.m. on Nov. 17, 2025. Students may submit multiple entries. We encourage submissions to review past years' winners and think creatively about how to avoid repetition or duplication.
A committee of faculty and staff will select the top three submissions based on quality, originality and holiday/Huskie spirit. The students with the top three selections will receive a one-time scholarship (first place $500, second place $300 and third place $100) and be featured in the president's electronic holiday card.

"At Â鶹¾«Æ·, academic advising has been essential in helping me plan my courses and stay on track with my major, giving me confidence in my academic path. The COMS Lab has also been a valuable resource, providing guidance and feedback to improve presentations and public-speaking skills, which has made me feel more confident and successful in my classes."

"Take advantage of the resources around you: tutoring, advising, mentoring, career services — all of it. It’s easy to focus only on classes, but your experiences outside the classroom can shape your path just as much. Stay curious, build relationships with your professors and don’t be afraid to change direction as you learn more about yourself."
