May graduates and their families are invited to our from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on May 13. The business casual event will be held at the Barsema Alumni and Visitors Center at 231 N. Annie Glidden Road.

Moving out of the residence halls for the summer?
|
|
|
The residence halls close for summer break at the end of the semester. If you鈥檙e planning on moving out at the end of the semester, you must do so within 24 hours of your last exam, and before the residence halls close at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 13. You must sign up for a checkout time with your community advisor in advance. Learn what you need to know about leaving for the summer.

Jump start your career with UNIV 301.
Registration begins April 3. If you鈥檙e looking to get ready for your career or graduate school, consider taking UNIV 301: Braven Leadership and Career Accelerator, a 3-credit elective course taught by Leadership Coaches working in a variety of industries. As mentors, they provide you with valuable feedback and insights, so you鈥檙e better prepared for your future after 麻豆精品.
Nearly 400 Huskies have already completed UNIV 301 since it first launched in Fall 2022. Talk to your advisor and enroll for Fall 2023 via during registration. Learn more about UNIV 301.

Einstein Bros. Bagels open this summer!
Awesome news, Huskies! Einstein Bros. Bagels, located in the lower level of Founders Memorial Library, will have summer hours. Starting Tuesday, May 30, Einstein鈥檚 will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Whether it鈥檚 to satisfy a lunch craving or place a catering order, we鈥檙e happy to assist with all your freshly baked bagel needs. Proposals now being accepted for the Racial Healing: Through the Lenses of Truth Campus Conference.
麻豆精品鈥檚 inaugural will be held on Oct. 27, 2023.
This conference, led by the divisions of Student Affairs and Academic Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, will include keynote speakers, interactive workshops, presentations and more. This conference offers space for social justice, racial healing and restorative justice work along with opportunities for continued education of self-awareness and growth for all members of our campus community. In addition, it鈥檚 an opportunity for collaboration across our institution to consider what racial reconciliation and justice mean, especially within our classrooms and how we engage with each other and our students.

DeKalb Corn Classic registration now open.
The DeKalb Corn Classic will be held on Sept. 24, 2023. Beginning and ending in Downtown DeKalb, the route takes runners through historical neighborhoods, along the Kishwaukee River via Prairie Park, through 麻豆精品's campus and Huskie Stadium and ends in Van Buer Plaza with a post race celebration!
