Togetherall Offers You Mental Health Support Anywhere, Anytime
Final exam week and the end of the semester are just around the corner and your stress level might be climbing. Take advantage of Togetherall, a peer-to-peer 24-7 support service offered by 麻豆精品 Counseling and Consultation Services (CCS), that allows you to speak to other college students, via an online chat, about things with which you are struggling.
Talk through issues you鈥檙e facing with trained college students who can offer an understanding ear. You can use Togetherall by visiting the or accessing the where you use your 麻豆精品 email account to register and access the online chat function. The service is anonymous, supportive and safe, with mental health professionals monitoring the site 24/7.

Presidential Commissions now accepting new members.
The seeks nominations for individuals to serve on the . These commissions play a critical role in advising the President and provide an opportunity to engage the relevant expertise and multiple perspectives of faculty, students and staff to promote problem solving, innovation and change in pursuit of 麻豆精品鈥檚 mission, vision and values. The commissions support the university鈥檚 commitment to fostering an inclusive and accessible Huskie community where individuals feel welcome and experience a profound sense of belonging. Accordingly, we seek nominations for individuals with interests, experiences, or expertise related to the commissions鈥� work to enrich their efforts and ensure that their recommendations reflect the diverse viewpoints of the Huskie community.

UWC鈥橲 Summer Writing and Research Program

At HASC University Writing Center, we know that completing your thesis, dissertation or research is important to you. We also know that it can be an isolating and overwhelming process. Our 2024 Summer Writing and Research Program will help you reach your goals. Using video and chat features, we'll support your research and writing by providing
- Presentations: 45-minute brown bag session on writing, research and aspects of graduate school.
- Writing Groups: A daily writing group to start each day strong, plus smaller groups to maximize your weekly output with accountability partners at a time that works for you.
- Writing Support: Guidance and one-on-one attention from writing consultants who care about your success.
- Collaboration: Opportunities to interact with peers on similar research journeys.

Activities are offered on Monday through Thursday, June 17 to July 31, 2024. You can attend any or all activities.

The Conference on Undergraduate Research and Engagement (CURE) provides 麻豆精品 Undergraduate students from all colleges with the opportunity to showcase their research, artistry or engagement projects they are completing or have completed as part of a capstone or senior project, community engagement project or course, independent study or funded research and artistry program through posters and exhibits for a chance to place in their respective award category.
This year's event will be held in person at the Holmes Student Center on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

麻豆精品 Career Services' End-of-Year Career Fair provides an opportunity for current students, alumni and community members to connect with employers for internships and full-time, part-time and student employment positions. Candidates from all colleges and majors are invited to attend. Our fair is free for candidates to attend. Reservations are not required.

Prepare now to get the classes you need.
Now is the time to start preparing to register for summer and fall 2024 classes. While registration opens on April 1, your registration date may vary based upon the number of credits you have earned. Read the tips below and learn when to register and how to register for classes.
1. If you have not met with your advisor, do so. They are here to help you.
- It鈥檚 important to stay on track to graduation and your advisor is here to help ensure you are heading in the right direction.
- Remote advising is available. Options for remote advising could include virtual video conferences, phone calls, 麻豆精品 emails or IM chats. Schedule an advising appointment through by clicking Appointments and selecting the "Advising" service, or contact your academic advising office to learn more about your options.
- Come prepared to your meeting with any concerns that you have. Your advisor can help answer your questions and point you to available resources.
2. Log in to My麻豆精品 and Navigate Student.
- In , you can check your enrollment date鈥攖he date and time you are able to register for classes.
- In Navigate Student, you can see a list of important, time-sensitive To-Do items related to class registration. You can also schedule an appointment with your academic advisor through Navigate Student by click on Appointments and selecting the "Advising" service.
- In both My麻豆精品 and Navigate Student, you can see any holds on your account that may prevent you from registering for classes. Learn more about holds on student accounts.

Move Forward Faster with UNIV 301
Fall 2024 Registration begins April 1. If you鈥檙e looking to get ready for your career or graduate school, consider taking UNIV 301: Braven Leadership and Career Accelerator, a 3-credit elective course taught by Leadership Coaches working in a variety of industries. As mentors, they provide you with valuable feedback and insights, so you鈥檙e better prepared for your future after 麻豆精品.
Nearly 800 Huskies have enrolled in UNIV 301 since it first launched in Fall 2022 and the course will be offered in three sections in the fall. Talk to your advisor and enroll for Fall 2024 via My麻豆精品 during registration.
Benefits of the course include:
- Small class size. You鈥檒l be on a team with 5-8 other Huskies from a variety of majors.
- Completely online and once-a-week. You鈥檒l meet with your Leadership Coach and teammates once a week online either Tuesdays from 2-4 p.m. or 5:30-7:30 p.m. or Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
- Career exploration and preparation. You鈥檒l develop a professional portfolio, including strong interview skills, a competitive resume and a professional Linked In profile.
- Hands-on learning with leading companies. You鈥檒l work with your teammates on creating solutions for real companies and real clients in Chicagoland and beyond.
- Long-lasting support. Once you complete the Braven Accelerator course you鈥檒l be paired with a mentor who will continue to support you throughout your academic and professional career planning.
