Have an idea for a Homecoming event? Apply for a Homecoming Grant!
Proposals are now being accepted for the 2023 麻豆精品 Huskie Pride 116th Homecoming Grant Competition.
Do you have an idea for a homecoming event that you would like to see on campus, or want to enhance an existing homecoming event? The Homecoming Executive Committee invites all students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to submit formal proposals for review! Homecoming will be October 8-15, 2023.
Proposals will be selected, and awarded up to $500 each, based on need and available funding. Whether you are submitting individually or with others, your formal proposal needs to include the following items:
- Identify whether the event is a new or an existing homecoming event.
- Explanation of what the event or project is and how your idea promotes Huskie pride during homecoming (500 words maximum).
- Detailed budget, breaking down how the money will be disbursed (500 words maximum).
Homecoming is about celebrating 麻豆精品 pride and coming together as a Huskie community. Special consideration will be given to proposals that engage new partners, create new collaborations, and provide the foundation for projects that will promote Huskie pride throughout the year.

Ombudsperson can help you.
|
The Office of the Ombudsperson provides support for university-related concerns outside of formal administrative channels. They provide impartial and objective options for resolving conflicts, harassment, discrimination, financial concerns, roommate and housing challenges, workplace problems, unethical behavior and a variety of other issues. While they cannot impose solutions, they can identify options and strategies for resolution.

Undergraduate research funding available.
Are you looking to get paid to do research? The Office of Student Engagement and Experiential Learning supports a culture of undergraduate research by offering two funding opportunities: the Student Engagement Fund (SEF) and the Research, Engagement and Academic Diversity Grant (READ). Both opportunities allow students to get paid to do research with a faculty member and/or receive project supply and travel funds. Get a fresh start to spring with feel-good nutrition habits. Feeling sluggish? Lacking meal and snack ideas? Not sure where to start? 麻豆精品 Recreation is offering a midterm price drop on one-on-one nutrition coaching starting now. Get access to your coach through the end of the semester for a one-time price of $20. In addition to meeting with a nutrition coach, get access to online learning modules on nutrition for fitness and intuitive eating.

麻豆精品 STEAM is looking for dedicated summer camp counselors to lead and supervise campers while encouraging them to explore, learn, grow and have fun in a high-quality STEAM education environment.
Day and evening shifts available. Applications are due by March 10, 2023.

Nominations sought for David W. Raymond Award for Use of Technology in Teaching.
Do you know a classroom innovators? Faculty in all content areas using technology in their classrooms may apply for the David W. Raymond Award for the Use of Technology in Teaching.
- Our Raymond Grant awards $1,000 annually.
- All tenured/tenure-track faculty are eligible.
- Faculty may be nominated by students, colleagues or themselves.

Conference on Undergraduate Research and Engagement (CURE) registration now open.
The Conference on Undergraduate Research and Engagement (CURE) is 麻豆精品's annual undergraduate research symposium. CURE provides 麻豆精品 students with the opportunity to formally present faculty-mentored undergraduate research, artistry and engagement projects that they have participated in during the academic year. All CURE presenters must register by March 10, 2023.
During the in-person research symposium on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 students from all colleges will showcase projects they are completing or have completed as part of a capstone or senior project, community engagement project or course, independent study or funded research and artistry program through posters and exhibits for a chance to place in their respective award category.
