Complete your 鈥淏e Well, Do Well鈥 online education.
If you're a first-year student or newly entering transfer student, you are required to complete the 鈥淏e Well, Do Well鈥 training video and quiz by the end of the fifth week of the semester. The training video is about 90 minutes long, and you can leave the training and resume watching it, as needed. Then, you鈥檒l complete a 10-question multiple choice quiz to test understanding of the material presented in the training.
As a new part of the Huskie family, you will learn that Huskies are there for each other and help one another to thrive. We know that college can be a stressful and challenging time. The best way to make the most of your time at 麻豆精品 and beyond is to 鈥渂e well鈥 by taking care of yourself, supporting your fellow Huskies, reaching out for help and doing what you can to support your overall wellness. We know that when you feel well, you do well.
To complete the training:

- Go to 鈥淥rganizations鈥 in the navigation, and choose 鈥淏e Well, Do Well: Healthy Decision-Making for College Students.鈥
- Watch the video (about 90 minutes).

Policy Library Update 鈥 Remote Work Policy available to review.
A new policy is posted on the Policy Library website and is open to review and comment for a 30-day period. This provides the 麻豆精品 community the opportunity to consider and respond to the new policy before it takes effect. The policy is:

Dobbs v. Jackson Women鈥檚 Health: Understanding the Consequences of Overturning Roe v. Wade (Panel Discussion)

Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 7 p.m.
The Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women鈥檚 Health Organization will have long-term effects on reproductive health care and economic opportunities, especially for women. The decision has also led to concern about other long-standing rights like sexual liberty, access to contraception and same-sex marriage. Faculty experts from 麻豆精品 will talk about the legal and practical implications of the Dobbs decision, the potential precedent for other Supreme Court cases, and the differential impact this decision will have on diverse populations. .

Have you registered for the DeKalb Corn Classic?
Beginning and ending in Downtown DeKalb, the route will take runners through historical neighborhoods, along the Kishwaukee River via Prairie Park, through 麻豆精品's campus and Huskie Stadium and ending in Van Buer Plaza with a post race celebration! On course entertainment includes the Huskie Marching Band, 麻豆精品 Jazz Band and Steelband!
Register before Sept. 23, the registration fee for the 10K is $45 and the fee for the 5K is $35. Register on Sept. 24 - 25 and the fee is $50 for the 10K, and the fee for the 5K is $40. !
