It's time to renew your FAFSA.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available for the 2023-2024 academic year. Renew yours as soon as possible. The FAFSA is your application for federal financial aid such as grants, work-study and student loans. Some funds are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, so the sooner you submit your completed FAFSA, the more likely you are to receive assistance if you are eligible.

It's time to prepare for spring 2023 class registration.
|
Now is the time to start preparing to register for spring 2023 classes. Read the tips below and learn when to register and how to register for classes.
1. If you have not met with your advisor, do so. They are here to help you.
- It鈥檚 important to stay on track to graduation and your advisor is here to help ensure you are heading in the right direction.
- Remote advising is available. Options for remote advising could include virtual video conferences, phone calls, 麻豆精品 emails or IM chats. Schedule an advising appointment through by clicking Appointments and selecting the "Advising" service, or contact your academic advising office to learn more about your options.
- Come prepared to your meeting with any concerns that you have. Your advisor can help answer your questions and point you to available resources.
2. Log in to My麻豆精品 and Navigate Student.
- In , you can check your enrollment date鈥攖he date and time you are able to register for classes.
- In Navigate Student, you can see a list of important, time-sensitive To-Do items related to class registration. You can also schedule an appointment with your academic advisor through Navigate Student.
- In both My麻豆精品 and Navigate Student, you can see any holds on your account that may prevent you from registering for classes. Learn more about holds on student accounts.

Thinking about withdrawing from a course?
Friday, Oct. 28 is the last day for undergraduates to request a full-semester course withdrawal through advisor (Fall 2022). Students who are considering withdrawing from a course should reach out to their academic advisor as well as their financial aid counselor. Dropping a course can impact financial aid eligibility and academic course progression.
Campus Activities Board (CAB) is looking for feedback.

Funding for spring 2023 undergraduate research projects available.
Applications for spring 2023 Student Engagement Fund (SEF) and Research, Engagement and Academic Diversity (READ) Grant are currently being accepted and have a due date of Monday, Oct. 31. SEF and READ support projects that consist of undergraduate students working on faculty-mentored research, community-based projects and projects focused on social justice and diversity. Student and faculty submissions are considered.
Recipients of the funds are provided financial support of up to $2,500 for research related expenses including project supplies and conference registration (for the student). Additionally, students working on the project are eligible for up to $1,200 in compensation for their work as an undergraduate research assistant.
