Participants needed for a breastfeeding awareness discussion.
|
What is the purpose of this study? To discuss the factors that influence a person’s breastfeeding awareness level.
Help human milk feeding research and earn $20 for your time!
|
- What will I do? You will be asked questions in a focus group setting held on the 鶹Ʒ campus to discuss what influences breastfeeding awareness.
- How long will the study take? Participating in this focus group will take about 45 minutes.
- Benefits: The information collected will serve as an initial discussion and examination of the measurement tool. Once the tool is created, it will enable the researcher and others in lactation research to see how prior breastfeeding exposure can impact research.
- Risks: Being a part of the focus group is completely voluntary. No identifying information is collected.

The Office of the President seeks to identify a member of the Supportive Professional Staff or Operating Staff interested in serving a year-long professional development fellowship. The Office of the President Staff Fellow will be assigned special projects needed to carry out the functions of the Office of the President and will be afforded professional development opportunities. The fellow will be appointed for the 2025 calendar year and will report to the university’s chief strategy officer. Learn more about the President Staff Fellow Program, including how to apply. The University Grants Academy (UGA)
|
The Division of Research and Innovation Partnerships (RIPS) and the Office of Research Development (ORD) are accepting applications to the University Grants Academy (UGA) and University Grants Academy Level-Up (UGA 2.0).
The UGA is a semester-long experience that increases faculty capacity to obtain extramurally funded grants. The UGA supports extramural grant applications that are considered significant for the applicant’s field. Applicants need not be grant novices, but should not have secured major extramural funding in the past. Distinct from the UGA, UGA 2.0 targets faculty who have held significant extramural funding and are seeking the next level of funding opportunities.
Tenure track faculty are eligible to apply to both programs which will take place in spring 2025. Applications are due Oct. 2. Interested faculty must prepare and submit a proposal via ORD’s internal competition portal. Complete information on these programs is available on the webpage.
