麻豆精品鈥檚 print partner, , is asking faculty and staff to by Monday, April 3, so they can gain a better understanding of the campus community鈥檚 print needs.
Print products previously produced by 麻豆精品鈥檚 Division of Information Technology are now being completed by RRD. RRD鈥檚 user-friendly is being utilized for ordering print projects, while the development of additional custom products is on-going to provide users a simplified ordering experience. If you do not see the product you're looking for, submit an "Ad Hoc" request, and RRD will provide you with a custom quote. RRD would love to print your next project.

Nominations Sought for Deacon Davis Diversity Awards
The Presidential Commission on Race and Ethnicity (PCORE) announces the call for . This award recognizes significant contributions made by students, faculty, staff, departments or organizations to the improvement in the climate and conditions for racial and ethnic groups on the 麻豆精品 campus. A list of previous award recipients can be found on the commission鈥檚 website. The nomination deadline is Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 4:30 p.m.
Nomination deadline extended for the Presidential Commission on Persons with Disabilities awards
The Presidential Commission for Persons with Disabilities (PCPD) is extending its deadline for nominations for its annual awards for those who have made a difference in the life of a person with disabilities at 麻豆精品. Deadline Extended for Supportive Professional Staff Awards
The Supportive Professional Staff Council is requesting nominations for the Supportive Professional Staff Awards. The five Supportive Professional Staff (SPS) Awards are separate from the new Staff Awards being awarded by the Office of the President. The SPS Council has a longstanding tradition of recognizing SPS staff through these awards and is committed to continuing to honor additional staff for their outstanding contributions in the areas below:
- Advocacy.
- Cultural competency.
- Excellence in supervision.
- Institutional advancement.
- Partnership and collaboration.

Each recipient is given a plaque in honor of their accomplishments. An individual can receive each SPS Award only once. We encourage nominators to consider SPS staff at all levels. Open forums scheduled for Assistant Vice Provost for Assessment and Accreditation candidates.
The campus community has the opportunity to participate in a series of in-person openforums where they can meet and ask questions of the finalists for the position of Assistant Vice Provost for Assessment and Accreditation at Northern Illinois University. A Teams link is provided for those unable to attend in-person. Each session will last 60 minutes and all participants, virtual or in person, are encouraged to fill out an evaluation of the candidate which will be sent after each session.
The schedule for the forums is as follows:

- - Tuesday, March 21 at 2 p.m.
- - Wednesday, March 22 at 2 p.m.
- - Friday, March 24 at 2 p.m.

Open forum scheduled for Acting Dean of the College of Education candidate.
The campus community has the opportunity to participate in an where they can meet and ask questions of a candidate for the position of Acting Dean, College of Education. The Open Forum is scheduled Friday, March 24, 2023 in Altgeld Hall Room 315 from 11:00 a.m. to noon. A Zoom link is provided for those unable to attend in-person.
Take Me Outside 4H Club
Do you know a student in third through fifth grade in the DeKalb area who loves exploring outdoors? Illinois Master Naturalist Sarah Tobias and Christine Lagattolla are hosting a 4H Spin (special interest) Club. Take Me Outside invites children to use all their senses to explore and discover local nature. The club is offered on Tuesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. starting March 28 for six weeks. This group will meet at a different DeKalb park or forest preserve each week. Co-hosted with Kish Kids Outside, learn more and register at .
B.O.G.O. and Darts at the Bar at the Huskie Den
Huskies, the Bar at the Huskie Den has an enticing new B.O.G.O offer that鈥檚 too good to pass up. Buy one item off the 鈥淪tarters鈥 menu, get one free.
