Seeking volunteers for a research study
Professors Milijana Buac and Allison Gladfelter (Speech-Language Pathology) are working on our Illinois Innovation Network Grant project with Professor Ziteng Wang (Engineering). They are actively recruiting participants between ages 5 and 12 (with or without a diagnosis of autism). Eligible participants will complete a one-hour session and receive a small toy. We need your brain!
The 麻豆精品 Speech-Language Hearing Clinic is conducting a study of the effects of COVID-19 鈥淏rain Fog鈥� on short term memory. Participants will be asked to complete a case history, hearing evaluation,
tests of cognition, and a brainwave assessment. If you are 18-55 and have normal hearing, are a native English speaker, and no history of drug/alcohol abuse, ADD/ADHD, learning disability, or other neurological disorder, you are eligible. Per Diem rate increased Jan. 20, 2023
Effective Jan. 20, 2023, the per diem rate for employee travel increased from $28 per day to $44 per day for in-state travel and from $32 per day to $48 per day for out-of-state travel. Please see the updated guidance on the Illinois Higher Education Travel Control Board鈥檚 . University employee travel policies will be updated accordingly.
Please be sure to use the updated per diem amounts when submitting an electronic travel voucher form in OnBase for any travel on or after Jan. 20, 2023.
If a prior travel voucher was submitted using the old per diem rate for travel on or after Jan. 20, 2023, a new voucher for additional pay may be submitted for reimbursement of the difference. Please reference your original travel voucher ID in the business purpose description of the electronic travel voucher form upon submittal.

Judges needed for Mock Trial championship.
麻豆精品 Mock Trial is excited to co-host the American Mock Trial Association's Opening Round Championship Series (ORCS) mock trial tournament March 10-12 at the Kane County Judicial Center in Geneva, Illinois.
