The Research and Artistry 2023 competition is accepting applications through November 9, 2022. This annual internal grant competition provides funding support for faculty research, scholarship, and artistry activities. More information, including the 2023 request for proposals containing full details and application instructions is available on the Division of Research and Innovation Partnerships Research and Artistry website. Applications are due November 9, 2022. Tenure-track teaching and research faculty are eligible to apply.

Free NSF Virtual Grants Conference Nov. 14-17, 2022
The National Science Foundation (NSF) will host its free virtual grants conference Nov. 14-17, 2022.
New faculty, researchers, research administrators and staff who work with NSF grants are encouraged to attend. Highlights of the conference include:
- New programs and initiatives.
- NSF Directorate sessions.
- Future directions and strategies for national science policy.
- Proposal preparation and the merit review process.
- Award management topics.

Funding for spring 2023 undergraduate research projects available.
Applications for spring 2023 Student Engagement Fund (SEF) and Research, Engagement and Academic Diversity (READ) Grant are currently being accepted and have a due date of Monday, Oct. 31. SEF and READ support projects that consist of undergraduate students working on faculty-mentored research, community-based projects and projects focused on social justice and diversity. Student and faculty submissions are considered.
Recipients of the funds are provided financial support of up to $2,500 for research related expenses including project supplies and conference registration (for the student). Additionally, students working on the project are eligible for up to $1,200 in compensation for their work as an undergraduate research assistant.

The University Honors Program (UHP) is excited to announce the 2023-2024 Honors Faculty Fellowship call for proposals, which is centered upon the theme of creation and destruction.
